Jerusalem is a city of holiness, heritage, and spirituality, and its aura is felt the moment you step foot on its soil for the first time. The majesty and splendor of the holiest place on earth will overwhelm you on your first glimpse. There are hundreds of years old trees, ancient houses, and scattered tombs at nearly every turn.

There is an invisible line that divides east and west Jerusalem.

At this unseeable line, bodies are tense, and everyone is on high alert, yet after passing it, the main event comes into notice. It is no secret that the Old City of Jerusalem is a huge tourist attraction for more than 2 billion people worldwide, but walking through it with your soul open will be an experience that few tourists will ever have. 

On your first step in the old city, the first thing you will notice is that the tiles are uneven, and tripping on one is more than likely. You will need to forgive the tiles though, as they have been steadfast and loyal for centuries. You will then be greeted by the sounds of church bells ringing, urging you to find your spirit, and calls for prayers, that will urge you to “Rise up for prayer, Rise up for success” and you might just catch Jerusalem Syndrom (Insert hyperlink)

Trying to get rid of the Syndrom, you notice that you are not tired, you are not hot or cold. You feel nothing but spirituality. The tiles and the walls are giving you the energy you have never experienced before. You’ve been walking for hours, through chambers, quarters, churches, and other-worldly beauty, yet time is not a concept here. 

The past mingles with the present and merges into one. The sight of a car might look foreign, as it seems impossible to find a modern creation between such ancient walls. The car might even look like a time machine that pulls you out of the past and into the present, yet Jerusalem refuses to let you go.
